I strive to paint subjects not only as they are, but as I conceive them.  Through observation, I become aware of the beauty, mystery and complexity of life and in turn I find a universe that exists internally.  The interplay between imagination and the apparent external reality inspires me and intuitively guides me to find subjects and work through paintings.  I strive to liberate and unravel the instant when I experience no separation between the physical world and my creative conception.
